“If decent, honest and hard-working people don’t get involved in government, then government won’t be decent, honest and hard-working.” – Dan Winslow, Massachusetts Lawyers Journal, March 2010

Winslow has taken what the Sun Chronicle refers to as a “promising blend of experience and talent for innovation” to Beacon Hill since taking the oath of office in January. Among the legislation that Winslow has sponsored have been an ethics reform package, alimony reform and jobs promotion bills. Winslow has also been an early adopter in the social media realm, using both Facebook and Twitter extensively to communicate with his constituents and supporters.
Prior to his election to the House, Winslow served as the presiding justice of the Wrentham District Court from 1995 to 2002, as well as the managing civil justice for the District Courts in Southeastern Massachusetts and the Cape Islands. In 2002, former Gov. Mitt Romney tapped Winslow to serve as his Chief Legal Counsel.
